Today’s focus...Turnaround Tuesday (plastic Monday) makes us reach for the Alka Seltzer (other remedies are available) and the not so dovish Fed minutes?
Seth Godin...maybe worth signing up to his daily blog. I’m just a knuckle dragger when it comes to marketing. Fwiw I agree with the conceptual approach, and here’s the ‘but’, to me it doesn’t showcase your competitive advantage enough. Maybe the Pro should be first...that’s where you showcase what you offer - an ahead of the market insight to drivers, in summary form. I pay for pro, and if I say I want you to take me off the subscription list -then I admit to not wanting to buy it aka -you failed as a teaser (yes I go away and the problem does not imo). No one else comes close to what you do in breadth and depth...I highly value it. 🚀
Thanks for the additional colour . . . we'll take it away and discuss internally. We're always considering the evolution of the newsletters so this feedback will definitely be taken onboard.
The Morning Call Script is a lighter version of The Morning Hark newsletter made available to our free subscribers, as well as paid subscribers.
For this reason, as a paid subscriber to The Morning Hark, I can understand why you notice some overlap in the content.
As a business, we follow the standard newsletter model of offering both free and paid content. The free content acts as a marketing tool to help bring in new subscribers, which allows us to keep the price low for paid subscribers.
Based on feedback from a number of paid subscribers, we made the decision to send The Morning Call Script to both free and paid subscribers and allow them to decide for themselves whether to opt in or out of receiving it.
We understand it may be of value to some and not to others. We, therefore, deliberately add the button to manage email preferences at the top of every edition of The Morning Call Script to make it easy to opt out.
Would you like me to unsubscribe you from The Morning Call Script?
Alternately, we welcome any suggestions you may have to make the earlier email more value add to you? Perhaps changes to timing or content. We are continuously looking at ways to improve our offering.
Thanks again for your support and we appreciate you taking the time to share feedback.

Great summary...post at 0651 is detractive to your value added imo
